


The No. 11 Oregon Ducks are set to host the Eugene Regional in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship tournament.
The 64-team field, which was announced on Sunday, will begin play on Friday with 16 double-elimination regionals, each consisting of four teams.
The Eugene Regional features No. 14 seed Oregon (40-12), Mississippi State (38-18), Saint Mary’s (40-14), and Idaho State (37-18).
Oregon will open its tournament run on Friday at 7 p.m. against Idaho State at Jane Sanders Stadium, with the game airing on ESPNU.
The winner of the regional will advance to the Super Regional round the following weekend.
The Women’s College World Series is scheduled to start on May 28 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This marks the 26th NCAA appearance for the Ducks program and their sixth straight under head coach Melyssa Lombardi. Last season, Oregon reached the Women’s College World Series for the first time since 2018.
