Massimiliano Allegri’s side currently sit fourth in the Serie A table with 67 points, level with Roma but ahead on head-to-head results.

On May 17, AC Milan will face Genoa away. The joint training camp is designed to unite the squad ahead of the crucial final stretch, where a Champions League qualification spot is at stake.

The Rossoneri, who had a rest day on Monday, will return to training at Milanello on Tuesday. The training camp itself is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 13.

The possibility of holding a training camp before the Genoa match was announced by sporting director Igli Tare.

“After the match, we analyzed the situation with the coach. We spoke with the players, telling them that everything around us might be draining our energy, but we need to change our mentality. The response from the team leaders was correct, but we must move from words to action.

“We have an important match on Sunday. Perhaps we will go on a training camp for a few days to better understand and analyze the situation,” Tare said following the game against Atalanta.
