Pedro, do Flamengo, e Kaio Jorge, do Cruzeiro, são dois nomes que estão na pré-lista de Ancelotti para a Copa

Flamengo and Cruzeiro lead the way in Carlo Ancelotti’s preliminary 55-man squad for the World Cup, with more players selected than any European club.

Seven players from Flamengo and five from Cruzeiro made the list. Flamengo’s representatives include Danilo, Alex Sandro, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Lucas Paquetá, Samuel Lino, and Pedro. Cruzeiro’s contributions are Kaiki, Fabrício Bruno, Gerson, Matheus Pereira, and Kaio Jorge.

Other Brazilian clubs with players in the squad are Bahia, Botafogo, Corinthians, Grêmio, Palmeiras, Santos, and Vasco. Botafogo comes closest to Flamengo and Cruzeiro with two players: Vitinho and Danilo Santos. All other Brazilian clubs have just one player each.

Among European teams, Arsenal tops the list with three players: Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Magalhães, and Gabriel Martinelli. Chelsea and Manchester United each have two, though Chelsea could have had three if Estêvão were not injured. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain each have only one player. Real Madrid would have had more if Rodrygo and Éder Militão were fit.

Three Saudi Arabian clubs are also represented: Ibañez (Al-Ahli), Fabinho (Al-Ittihad), and Bento (Al-Nassr).
